You will have to replaced your implants every 10-15 years depending on how your body tolerates them. Some people get scar tissue around the implants which makes them hard and/or lumpy. They feel much harder than normal breasts. You may not be able to nurse so perhaps you should consider putting the surgery off until you are older and become less concerned with this body issue.

Hayley has it backwards. Regular Silicone is the older style implant with liquid, that is not approved for cosmetic use. You can only choose that option if you had a mastectomy. The cohesive silicone gel implant is just that, you can cut the implant in half and the silicone will not leak. The have been used in Europe for years, but were just FDA approved in the US in 2006. They were only tested in clinical trials on women 22 and over, so those are the only women that doctors can use them with. Any doctor that does not follow these guidelines is sketchy and doesn’t mind risking his license. It’s an FDA standard, it has nothing to do with parental permission.

This is really uncommon with moderate sized implants even with the popular "through the nipple" approach (the one I use 90% of the time.) The only patients I have seen that lost nipple sensation with simple breast augmentation were operated elsewhere.

I’d try to figure out who she’s changing her boobs for. Obviously your opinion is not the one that matters to her. Signs of BIG trouble (pun unintended, but acknowledged).

Good question…I used to think I could easily tell but there have been a few occasions where I thought her breasts were so perfect she had to have had breast implant but nope they were real and vice versa…I think they undergo if they have the financial resources and want to move up the social status ladder…want to feel good about themselves…impress people in their career or friends…just to feel and present themselves as more attractive. My gf might end up getting it too (breast reduction lol) but I like her whichever way she looks.

you shouldn’t and how do i know this ? my wife had them .they can "break down" without leaking and it can go into the breast milk.one of her’s leaked while she was pregnant she had them removed shortly after giving birth.we were told about the "breakdown" part before the leakage we were also told some women can’t anyways because of how the implant is situated and pressing against the milk ducts making it impossible to produce enough milk. hope this helped

At the risk of making myself unpopular could I make the case for the answer ‘never’? It saddens me as a male to think of all those women out there stuffing plastic into their chests in the belief that it is attractive; it may be so to some but some of us find it quite the opposite. Sorry!

breast implants are cosmetic surgery and are not included in any Health Care plan, to be honest California and Brazil have the best breast augmentation surgeons, they have turned many men into women

I think it basically comes down to their choice I personally wouldn’t do it but that is because I have different values, everyone has different values there is no wrong or right way in how to bring up children unless you are just a bad parent and couldn’t care less.

You would have to check with each plastic surgeon practice. They all have different policies. If you are not seeing one offering that, or the one you feel would do the best job isn’t, simply ask. Some places are more than willing to work with their potential clients!

Although the tissue removed during a massectomy is different that that from the underlying tissue, it is possible to get cancer in any of the bodies tissues…… Cancer cells are just normal cells that have gone haywire and are growing too fast.

mine where 5,000 and i went from a 34 6 to a 34dd and i love them i get more attention and men love them… my dr did a great job alot of people think they are real… and they went tru my belly button so i dont have any scars..
