Any man who has ever seen more than one woman naked would know that most women do not have perfectly round baseball or grapefruit shaped breasts. Women undergo this surgery because some of us feel that our only value is our beauty. It depends on who you go to, Both of my friends were around $5000, both had to be bound for a couple of days then just sports bras, it takes about 6 weeks for a full recovery.

it all depends on the surgry. yes you can breast feed. some women lose sensitivity, some dont. there are many different ways to get the implants.

Well in nature big boobs equals fertility in our species. So it is a morphed version of that attraction. Honestly I know most guys don’t like implants. I think girls see women and how their breasts are in the movies, advertisements, Play Boy etc and somehow feel inadequate or have had nothing to compare their own breasts to and now feel they are not normal or somehow their breasts are unattractive. These media examples basically say "Men are attracted to BIG BOOBS, no matter how fake and hard they are. You need big boobs for attention, otherwise no man will want you." A bit extreme yes, but the truth. I would also make a guess that it roots in their self esteem, trying to improve something physical to cover up something emotionally wrong. It’s almost like being a natural,strong, normal woman is a bad things these days. If you have cellulite you are unattractive. If you have a little fat on your bones, you are ugly and overweight. My husband loves my breasts the way they are, I’m happy I found someone who loves my body the way it is. Some guys are just that shallow I guess.

I mean that is wrong. Fake is fake if you think about it. Whether its a size B or EE. I just think about why they get the implants. What is the psychology behind it. Some women get it to further their careers, others to make themselves feel more confident. I think we need to stop making women feel less womanly because they do not have a huge chest. I mean what sense would it make for a woman who weighs 110 lbs to have DD’s? I think beautiful women come in all shapes and sized.

I could care less about who gets implants. I just know I never would. I can understand a mother who nursed a few kids wanting to get an augmentation, but getting implants for vanity purposes is beyond me.

as someone with a naturally large chest i dont understand why people want super huge boobs. the chronic back pain, bad posture, not being able to find good fitting clothes. i mean, if your like an A or a B cup and want to punch it up a bit thats ok.

Yes—You should be able to feel them. I asked my doctor the same question after I had my implants. Kinda freaked me out at first. It feels really strange that you can move them around too. Be prepared for that. And your right….Mostly at the bottom is where you can feel them most. Dont worry!

The only reason I can think of is if there is a health issue. Some women have their breast taken out before there is any problems, (for cancer reasons) and have implants to replace them. If a woman has a low self vision of herself and has an A cup, then that would be perfectly normal I think.

There is a chance that it is still too soon to tell if they wont heal evenly. Do as the doctors says for now and then see what is what. A friend of mine was in this position but eventually they evened out.

its been a year and 5 months since i got my implants and i never had any pain from day one (seriously). however my best friend got them done and she complained for 3 months!

Why would you want her to be soooo big that she’ll want a breast reduction in 2 years because her breasts are so big and heavy that her back hurts? You have no idea how many patients I have that come in and get breast reductions because they were so big and heavy it caused chronic back pain. Be realistic. You want them to look as natural as possible and not fake, and going to an E or F cup is going to look completely fake. Be realistic for her size. If she’s petite a full B small C would look great, or if she’s average size a full C small D would look great. Anything bigger is going to probably not look that great. Cost wise, you have to realize that insurance doesn’t pay for cosmetic surgery, so you’re going to end up with probably a $10,000 bill including the anesthesia, surgery, medications, etc. I hope you are not trying to talk your girlfriend into something so large because YOU want them that big. Don’t be selfish…she’s the one that’s going to have to live with them and the only one that ultimately has to be happy with them.

I think that if you weren’t born with it, it isn’t meant to be there. Plus you have to get them replaced every 4 years or so. That’s that many more times you risk getting a botched boob job. I think that the only reason to get it done is if you hate the way you look without a shirt so much that you cry when you look at yourself in the mirror (like from having kids or losing weight), if it gets in the way of your love life/relationship, or if you got into a horrible accident. Think of TLCs unpretty song (and video).

Yes it is possible and safe dont worry. The milk ducts are directly behind the nipple and a implant does not come between the two. I wouldnt recommend implants or atleast till after you have the baby because some people’s breast sag a little after having a baby and if you want implants afterward both can be corrected.
