I was so nervous when I got mine. I had saw all the horror stories, and hate doctors anyways….but I am so happy that I did it. Before my surgery, I was almost flat chested, and the boobs i did have sagged. I wore a 34a, I’m also 5′7 and quite curvy in the rear, so I was extremely mismatched. I went from 34a to a full 34c, I couldn’t be happier. I just wanted to look and feel normal, and I do. It was the best thing I could have ever done for my self esteem. And almost 1 year later, I don’t have to worry about what I wear, and I look great in bikinis and lingerie, plus even though my husband was against the surgery I can tell he is happy with the results. But I must tell you this surgery was for me & me only, make sure you are the one wanting the augmentation, don’t do it to please anyone except yourself and to raise your own self confidence level. As far as the surgery itself, it took an hour, didn’t even hurt, when I woke up I felt fine. Of course everyone’s outcome maybe different, and your body may handle it differently, however I’m a woss, so for me to tell you it was nothing, really means it was nothing for me to go through. You will be given pain medicine & special massaging instructions(MAKE SURE YOU MASSAGE, this is the most important part of the recovery process) I had an amazing DR too, which really makes the difference. Please make sure you TRUST the DR doing your surgery, this is very important, you are potentially leaving your life in their hands, it is a big decision, and you want someone you trust to be taking care of you. Even though you already paid, you can demand your money back(i would only do this if you are not completely comfortable with the physician) I did extensive research on my doc before I ever scheduled one consultation, and I researched several different docs. The only 2 problems I have with them are when they are so big it’s pornographic, and the fact that most look fake. It is the only plastic surgery that people get where they accept it looking fake. No one wants a nose that looks like it’s had surgery, or an obvious facelift but fake boobs always look fake and women are fine with it…way too perky and round instead of teardrop. I understand some women wanting a larger chest, but most natural breasts look better than about to explode melons. Why can’t they be made to look more natural?

yes, but there are some exceptions. like if he had breast cancer and had to have one or both removed then i would be fine with her getting implants. when she does get them i would rather her get them as close to the size they were before. but if there is nothing wrong with her and she still got them to have bigger boobs then it would be a turn off

Depends if you get them too big or not. If you get ones that arent too big for your frame, you look sexy. I got implants myself. I didnt go too huge for my frame, and everyone who knows about me getting implants say they look nice. A LOT of women get breast implants and its not tacky. It boosts self esteem, you look better in clothes, and when you feel better about your body, the happier you are! So if youre considering them, I say go for it.

It really depends on how over weight you are. If you are more than 30 pounds over your ideal weight, then you would be considered obese. A respectable plastic surgeon wouldn’t provide you any services until you get down to a managable, healthy weight.

i think it would help you raise your confidence and it sounds like a good idea for you. the cost truly depends on what doctor you go to, but make sure, you get a good doctor, so you get a good surgery and he does a good job. look into several and make a resonable decision for size. good luck.

Breast implants, are all the same. There isn’t a difference between left or right, just the shape, size, and whether or not it’s saline or silicone gel.

its your choice of course. I don’t beleive in getting implants just because one is not pleased with the size of their breasts. I do beleive implants are appropriate for situations like when one breast is larger than the other, or if they are just "deformed" looking. But even then, its up to you. Ask your mom to back off a bit

NO! Implants do not look good, most you can tell they are fake. And they don’t look good. I don’t understand guys who like fake t*its. I’d rather have tiny mosquito bite nipples to play with, or saggy droopy udders than implants. I just can’t understand how touching or squeezing a bag of silicone can be erotic. I’ll take the real thing any day, no matter how small, saggy or whatever shape or size.

My friend just went through this until then it was a total secret to me. The cost is pretty reasonable (this is Los Angeles, CA) at about $2500 for the Saline – silicone is controversial and if it ruptures can have serious side effects. She went from an A to a C cup. After the surgery she had to wear a tight sports bra to push the implants in place as well as massage the implants daily to make sure they settle into the "pocket" that is cut out behind to accommodate them. No Vigorous exercise (running, jumping, stretching) was allowed for the first 4 months to prevent uneven settling and assure complete healing. She also had to wear front closure sports bras all day long (except to bathe) so she needed to have about 5. She was in a good deal of pain and took her vacation time (4 weeks) and she needed all of it to recover. It has been a year and they have settled in nicely, are soft and natural looking but she has been warned she will need to plan for "maintenance" in order to keep the skin around them firm and keep them looking appropriate to her age and body type. Girl, just get a really good push up bra. It works for Paris Hilton. She has really little boobs but when she puts one on they look bigger, yet too high. Dont get one that pushes them up really high, that looks stupid.

Saline implants are the safest and if she plans on breastfeeding down the road, make sure her surgeon performs surgery using an ncision made under the fold of the breast or through the armpit as this type of incision is more prone to have better success rates, than an incision around the areola.

Don’t have em personally but many friends do. Yes kills after wards and they guys like the way the look and how much attention they get on the street but say they don’t like the feel of them. They like the feel of silicone though, which can’t be put in now a days unless it is for reconstructive surgery.

Silicone is even found in some foods we eat. That is why breast implants that are silicone will not harm the body. I know that this probably doesn’t help you but it is interesting.

haha oh these people are silly. YES OF COURSE YOU CAN! I have silicone ones that I got when I was a teen. I am pregnant now, and my boobs are getting naturally bigger over the implant (think implant under, squishy boobs over). And yes, my Doctor told me I could breast feed no problem.

Okay, well first of all if she already has at least an A cup, depending on her size, she should be fine. Breast implants can totally, and litterally pop. They aren’t good. And they can cause breast cancer, women who get implants are at higher risk. Plus, they are wayyyyy too over-priced! Tell her no!

I’d talk about the health risks and try to figure out the real motive. Most women want to look better because they are in competition with other women and not being up to parr is negative to their self-esteem. (i.e. she’s thinner than me, she’s got bigger boobs, she has more kids, whatever). maybe if she realizes this motive is a dumb reason, she’ll change her mind.
